Arrival in Nice or Marseille depending on where you’re flying from.
A quality coach will be at your disposal for the duration of the stay.

DAY 2
Breakfast provided in the hotel.
Guided walking tour of Old Nice and its colourful streets. You will discover the Cours Saleya market, Place Masséna and its buildings with red facades and blue shutters, the Fountain of Sun, Place Rossetti, the Town Hall, the Nice’s Opera…
A packed lunch is provided for midday meal.
You can visit the Matisse museum, a seventeenth century Genoese villa that shelteres drawings, gouaches, sculptures and many other works of the artist, or the Marc Chagall museum, where you will discover more than 800 works of the painter, including the permanent collection depicting scenes of the Old Testament. Followed by a stroll through the Phoenix floral park where you can admire more than 2500 species of plants and more than 2000 animals, 20 themed gardens, a large lake, and one of the largest greenhouses in Europe with a tropical climate).

DAY 3

Journey by coach to Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat
Audio-guided tour of Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild, former residence of Baroness Béatrice Ephrussi Rothschild in the early 1900s, and the, 9 thematic gardens surrounding the villa, all inspired by the Baroness’s travels.
A packed lunch is provided for midday meal.
Travel to Monaco, principality famous for its “Rock” and the Monte-Carlo district.
Free visit of the Oceanographic Museum: A highly impressive building of early 1900 style that overlooks the sea, with modern facilities that allow visitors to discover the marine world.
You can then take the time to discover the older districts of town of Monaco (“Renaissance” style mansions, narrow streets, the royal palace, the garden of the ramparts, Monaco’s cathedral) and of course Monte-Carlo, the luxurious district of Monaco famous for its casino (building of the Belle Epoque recognized for its architecture), its opera and the Grand Prix of Formula 1.

DAY 4
Breakfast provided at the hotel.
Journey by coach to Grasse for a guided tour of the Fragonard Perfumery, a museum that explains the secrets of the fabrication of perfume (there is even (for a fee) the possibility to participate in an organised perfume workshop in which you can learn to recognize different scents and create your own “eau de parfum”). You will then visit: the historical town center of Grasse: the Notre-Dame-du-Puy cathedral or the Carillon of the Oratory.
A packed lunch is provided for midday.
Travel to Cannes, a seaside resort and cultural city, famous for its Film Festival. A guided tour of the city based on a chosen theme : the old town, the cinema or the Croisette.

DAY 5
Breakfast provided at the hotel.
Travel to Antibes and free discovery of Marineland Marine Park where you can see shows of sea-lions, dolphins and killer whales.
A packed lunch is provided for midday.
Afternoon visit of the Picasso Museum (subject to the opening calendar): the first museum in the world dedicated to Pablo Picasso, located in the 15th century Château Grimaldi.
Then, free time in the old town (the ramparts, the cathedral …) and the port.
